Nisi Polarisationsfilter 180x180mm (Polarizing filter, 180mm)

Description

The Nisi 180x180mm Square HD Polariser filter is mainly used to suppress non-metallic, highly reflective surfaces, revealing the original color and texture of the object, and can also be used to improve the tone and hue of the sky. It is the most commonly used filter especially in landscape photography, and its digital role is irreplaceable. The CPL structure is sandwiched in the middle between two pieces of a polarizing optical glass glued together, Nisi HD CPL polarizing film is imported from Japan and offers low color shift and high optical precision. It is glued on both sides and then polished to achieve an excellent level of parallelism, and to provide the best image quality.more

Filters (photography)

In photography and videography, a filter is a camera accessory consisting of an optical filter that can be inserted in the optical path. The filter can be a square or oblong shape mounted in a holder accessory, or, more commonly, a glass or plastic disk with a metal or plastic ring frame, which can be screwed in front of the lens or clipped onto the lens.

Filters allow added control for the photographer of the images being produced. Sometimes they are used to make only subtle changes to images; other times the image would simply not be possible without them.

The negative aspects of using filters, though often negligible, include the possibility of loss of image definition if using dirty or scratched filters, and increased exposure required by the reduction in light transmitted. The former is best avoided by careful use and maintenance of filters, while the latter is a matter of technique; it usually will not be a problem if planned out properly, but in some situations filter use is impractical.

Polarizing filter

The polarizing filter used with most modern cameras is a circular polarizer. The first stage of the polarizer is a linear filter which filters out light that is linearly polarized in a specific direction. The second stage, for technical reasons related to the auto sensors within the camera, then circularly polarizes the light before it enters the camera.
