Product details
The MSI B360M BAZOOKA mATX motherboard features one PCIe x16 slot, which is connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. For plug-in and expansion cards, the board has two PCIe x1 slots.
The M.2 slot, which is connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes, supports the NVMe protocol and thus enables a data transfer rate of almost 4 GB/s in combination with a corresponding M.2 SSD. That is about eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G! Additional drives like SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via six SATA 3.0 ports. A maximum of 64 GB of working memory with a clock rate of up to 2,666 MHz can be accommodated in four DDR4 DIMM slots.
On the I/O panel, the MSI B360M BAZOOKA provides four USB 3.0 ports, one of which is a particularly thin Type C port that can be inserted on both sides. Other peripheral devices can be connected via two USB 2.0 slots.
One DVI and HDMI port each for image rendering via the processor's integrated graphics unit are also found on the I/O panel. The motherboard has three 3.5 mm jack outputs for the on-board sound. The internal connections include a COM port, TPM, power LED and speaker header, three fan connectors, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 header. For lighting with RGB strips and RGB fans, there is also an RGB LED header that can be controlled via the MSI Mystic Light app.
