Microsoft Surface Book 2 (13.50", Intel Core i5-7300U, 8GB, SSD)

Description

Experience twice as much performance as before with the new Surface Book generation - for up to 17 hours on one battery charge. The Surface Book 2 is a versatile notebook, powerful tablet and portable studio in one. It can be used as a detachable notebook with or without a keyboard. Thus it becomes a quick-change artist who adapts to the situation. Its robust lightweight magnesium chassis conceals hardware whose performance outshines many a desktop PC. The Core i5 processor of the seventh generation, 8 GB RAM and the integrated graphics solution are not overwhelmed by even the most demanding graphics and multimedia applications. The necessary storage space is provided by a lightning-fast PCIe solid state drive with 256 GB capacity. Security also meets professional requirements: With a TPM 2.0 chip and biometric face recognition authentication using Windows Hello, you can keep your confidential data safe. The Surface Book 2 has a "PixelSense" touch display with a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels. So you can enjoy your content in the finest details. The touch function is so precise that the Surface Book 2 can also be used as a graphics tablet. With separately available accessories such as the Surface Pen and the Surface Dial, professional graphic artists and image editing enthusiasts will find the perfect tool. Use the Surface Book 2 with the docking keyboard as a productive notebook. Remove the screen at the touch of a button, turn it and attach it backwards for presentation mode - ideal for sharing content or enjoying your favorite show. Alternatively, remove the keyboard completely and use the Surface Book 2 as a thin, lightweight tablet. Or leave the keyboard on, but turn it all the way back to use Surface Book 2 in slightly upright studio mode. This is perfect for precise operation of the touch display in graphics applications. The Surface Book 2 uses the entire range of modern interfaces: The WLAN module allows connection to local networks and hotspots and, thanks to the 802.11ac standard, is almost three times faster than the n standard. Three USB 3.0 ports, two in full size (type A) and one in the new type C form factor, are waiting for your peripherals and storage media. For example, you can use the Full-Size SD card reader to import images from digital cameras. With a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, video conferences, spontaneous snapshots and detailed image documentation are possible at any time.more

Portable
i

Portable

Portable notebooks are designed specifically for today's mobility needs. All notebooks in this category have two main features: Firstly, they are designed for lightweight construction (≤ 1.5kg) and have a maximum screen diagonal of 13.3 inches so that they practically fit in a pocket. Another advantage of these devices is their low power consumption, so that one battery charge is sufficient for up to a whole day, depending on the device load. Of course, these large battery ranges can only be achieved in coordination with particularly energy-efficient notebook components. As a rule, these devices are therefore equipped with "low-voltage" processors and main memory. Storage solutions are usually based on an SSD, which is lighter than a standard HDD and has no moving parts. This means that an SSD requires less power, is less susceptible to transport damage (vibration protection) and runs completely silently. However, the biggest advantage is the very short access time to stored data. With an SSD, your notebook starts up in seconds, increasing flexibility on the go.

German is a West Germanic language, thus related to and classified alongside English and Dutch. It is one of the world's major languages and the most widely spoken first language in the European Union. Globally, German is spoken by approximately 120 million native speakers and also by about 80 million non-native speakers. Standard German is widely taught in schools, universities and Goethe Institutes worldwide.

French (français, IPA: [fʁɑ̃sɛ]) is a Romance language spoken as a first language by around 136 million people worldwide.[1][4] A total of 250 million speak it as either a first or as a second language. Moreover, roughly 110 million people learn French as a second or third language. French speaking communities are present in 57 countries and territories. Most native speakers of the language live in France, the rest live essentially in Canada, particularly Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario, as well as Belgium, Algeria, Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, and certain places in the U.S. states of Maine and Louisiana. Most second-language speakers of French live in Francophone Africa, arguably exceeding the number of native speakers.

Italian ( italiano (help·info), or lingua italiana) is a Romance language spoken as a native language by about 70 million people in Italy, Malta, San Marino and parts of Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia and France. In addition, it is spoken by an additional 120 to 150 million people as a non-native language. Most native speakers are native bilinguals of both standardised Italian and regional varieties.
In Switzerland, Italian is one of four official languages, spoken mainly in the Swiss cantons of Grigioni and Ticino.

English

English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria. Following the economic, political, military, scientific, cultural, and colonial influence of Great Britain and the United Kingdom from the 18th century, via the British Empire, and of the United States since the mid-20th century, it has been widely dispersed around the world, become the leading language of international discourse, and has acquired use as lingua franca in many regions. It is widely learned as a second language and used as an official language of the European Union and many Commonwealth countries, as well as in many world organizations. It is the third most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

Max. TDP

The thermal design power (TDP), sometimes called thermal design point, refers to the maximum amount of power the cooling system in a computer is required to dissipate. For example, a laptop's CPU cooling system may be designed for a 20 watt TDP, which means that it can dissipate up to 20 watts of heat without exceeding the maximum junction temperature for the computer chip. It can do this using an active cooling method such as a fan or any of the three passive cooling methods, convection, thermal radiation or conduction. Typically, a combination of methods is used. The TDP is typically not the most power the chip could ever draw, such as by a power virus, but rather the maximum power that it would draw when running "real applications". This ensures the computer will be able to handle essentially all applications without exceeding its thermal envelope, or requiring a cooling system for the maximum theoretical power (which would cost more but in favor of extra headroom for processing power).

Graphics card properties

A video card, video adapter, graphics accelerator card, display adapter, or graphics card is an expansion card which generates output images to a display. Most video cards offer added functions, such as accelerated rendering of 3D scenes and 2D graphics, video capture, TV-tuner adapter, MPEG-2/MPEG-4 decoding, FireWire, light pen, TV output, or the ability to connect multiple monitors (multi-monitor). Other modern high performance video cards are used for more graphically demanding purposes, such as PC games.

802.11 ac

The new 802.11ac standard is to be adopted in 2013. The main advantage over 802.11n is the faster data transmission with a gross data rate of up to 6900 Mbps. Net, however, good devices achieve three times as many as 3-stream MiMO devices. Data transmission is exclusively in the 5 GHz band and requires a larger channel width of 80 MHz, optionally a channel width of 160 MHz.
