Source: Digitec GalaxusThe LG UltraGear 27GP850 offered high picture quality when tested: colours are almost true to the original and, if desired, beautifully bright. Streaks when gaming? Not a thing, the LG switches images in 3 milliseconds. It refreshes the picture up to 180 times per second (180 hertz frame rate). This makes it ideal for gaming and at 299 euros, it's not even that expensive.
The LG Ultragear 27GP850 clearly wins this duel: it offers better picture quality and features. For gaming, image and video editing, it is ideally suited - but also more expensive. On the other hand, if you are looking for an affordable monitor for internet and office tasks, you can't go wrong with the Acer CB272 - it didn't make any major mistakes in the test.
The LG 27GP850-B performs well to very well overall in the test and, at a street price of around 470 euros, is definitely recommendable.
... LG, on the other hand, scores with a really good colour space coverage in a colour depth of native 10 bits - and a favourable price of only 450 euros. With this good offer, many gamers could overlook the contrast deficit. The predecessor 27GL850 is also available for another hundred euros less, but "only" with 144 Hz, which is often sufficient.
