Gigaset CL660

Description

There is no need to compromise between design and functionality with the Gigaset CL660 - the cordless phone combines both: from a large colour display and high-quality processing to brilliant voice quality and individual picture and ringtone settings. The telephone offers everything you need for even better communication.
The Gigaset CL660A also has an integrated answering machine with up to 55 minutes recording time.

The CL660 combines a modern look with convincing handling: The frameless keyboard is flush-mounted in the telephone. This makes the navigation key stand out visually, making the phone easier and more intuitive to use. Together with the large, high-resolution display, the result is optimum operating comfort for you. Finally, the anthracite gives the phone an elegant look that blends in perfectly with your four walls.

Give the Gigaset CL660 your own personal touch: With the Picture Clip function you can store pictures of your contacts in your address book and see immediately who is calling you. In addition, you have the option of embellishing the background and screen saver of the handset with your own photos. You can also easily set your own ringtones. Personalize your CL660 easily with the free Gigaset QuickSync software. You can download them here for your PC or Mac.

The CL660's address book can hold up to 400 entries, each with three phone numbers. With the Gigaset QuickSync software, you can easily manage and update them on your PC or Mac. The contacts can also be synchronized with your MS Outlook, Windows or Google Cloud address books via Micro-USB. If you also want to assign pictures to your contacts, this is also very easy. Just as practical: VIP phone numbers and the birthday reminder function for particularly important people and occasions.

The design is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is just as functional: the high-contrast TFT colour display (50 x 38 mm) is large, clear and guarantees that you can read all information perfectly even in adverse lighting conditions. Additional functions such as date, time, message, call duration and battery charge display further enhance operating convenience.

Relax in the evening and enjoy the peace and quiet: The CL660 features a time-controlled ring tone deactivation. You decide whether this applies to all numbers or only to selected numbers. You can see the incoming calls at any time on the display, whereby the ringing tone is suppressed. With the additional function "Do not disturb anonymous callers", you can also mute or reject calls with a suppressed number. And with the blacklist function, you can block up to 15 phone numbers.

You can connect the CL660 to any router that is designed for IP telephony and has the corresponding analog sockets. If echo effects occur, they can be reduced or eliminated using the special XES (eXtended Echo Suppression) mode.

Telephones are a point-to-point communication system whose most basic function is to allow two people separated by large distances to talk to each other. It is one of the most common appliances in the developed world, and has long been considered indispensable to businesses, households and governments. The word "telephone" has been adapted to many languages and is widely recognized around the world.

Charcoal

Anthracite is the most metamorphosed type of coal (but still represents low-grade metamorphism), in which the carbon content is between 92% and 98%.[2][3] The term is applied to those varieties of coal which do not give off tarry or other hydrocarbon vapours when heated below their point of ignition. Anthracite ignites with difficulty and burns with a short, blue, and smokeless flame

Hands-free kit
i

Hands-free kit

A hands-free car kit, hands-free car kit or HFCK is a combination of speaker and microphone permanently installed in a device (e.g. mobile phone) or vehicle. The name is derived from the fact that neither loudspeakers nor microphones have to be routed to the ear or mouth, so hands remain free. Therefore, the term is also mistakenly used for so-called headsets.

Display size
i

Display size

The size of a display is typically given as the distance between two opposite screen corners. One problem with this method is that it does not distinguish between the aspect ratios of monitors with identical diagonal sizes, in spite of the fact that a shape of a given diagonal span's area decreases as it becomes less square. For example, a 4:3 21" monitor has an area of ~211 square inches, while a 16:9 21" widescreen has an area of only ~188 square inches.

Battery properties

There are two types of batteries: primary batteries (disposable batteries), which are designed to be used once and discarded when they are exhausted, and secondary batteries (rechargeable batteries), which are designed to be recharged and used multiple times. Modern TS and TRS connectors are available in three standard sizes. The original 1/4" (6.35 mm) version dates from 1878, for use in manual telephone exchanges—making it possibly the oldest electrical connector standard still in use. The 3.5 mm or miniature and 2.5 mm or subminiature sizes were originally designed as two-conductor connectors for earpieces on transistor radios. The 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm sizes are also referred to as 1/8" and 3/32" respectively in the United States, though those dimensions are only approximations. All three sizes are now readily available in two-conductor (unbalanced mono) and three-conductor (balanced mono or unbalanced stereo) versions.
