Gute luftgekühlte Karte mit Reserven für noch mehr OC

Konnte die Karte schon vor einiger Zeit erstehen und bin begeistert. Im OC-Mode läuft die Karte bei mir mit 2012MHz, nach einer etwas längeren Aufwärmphase und hoher Belastung pendelt es sich bei 1974-1987MHz ein. Ich nutze UWQHD (3440x1440) und was ich bisher gespielt habe läuft alles auf max. Einstellungen mit stabilen 60FPS (Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Anno 2205). Die Temperaturen bewegen sich dabei zwischen 68-74°C. Die voreingestellte Lüfterkurve finde ich jedoch etwas zu konservativ. Der Lüfter ist zu viel mehr fähig ohne das die Lärmbelastung merklich steigt. Bei ca. 5% mehr Lüfterleistung über die ganze Kurve bleiben die Temperaturen unter 68°C.
Einziges Manko, was halt einer guten Luftkühlung geschuldet ist, ist das Gewicht der Karte. Wenn man sein Motherboard noch traditionell eingebaut hat (Anschlüsse hinten, Karten horizontal). Dann wird die Karte nur auf einer Seite von 2 Schrauben und dem PCI-E Port gehalten, was dazu führt das die Karte ziemlich schnell und sichtbar auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite absackt. Ich konnte es nach ein paar Tagen nicht mehr so sein lassen und habe eine Stütze gebastelt (siehe Bild). Jetzt liegt die Karte wieder schön horizontal im Gehäuse. Die Backplate würde wahrscheinlich eine Beschädigung der GPU verhindern wenn man das nicht macht. Jedoch bin ich mir beim PCI-E Port nicht so sicher ob dieser die mechanische Belastung auf die Dauer erträgt.

Die beste GTX 1080ti für anspruchsvolles UHD Gaming

Nach vielen Vergleichsvideos und Tests, welche NICHT von irgendwelchen Firmen gesponsert wurden, bin ich bei dieser 1080ti gelandet. Bei den Vergleichen wurden alle Karten dieser Serie gegeneinander getestet und anhand der FPS aktueller Games verglichen. Die Gigabyte Aorus Extreme Edition hat sämtliche Konkurrenten um Längen geschlagen.
Die Karte hat eine sehr hohe Verarbeitungsqualität und weist keinerlei Mängel auf. Der Einbau geht kinderleicht und die Treiberupdates erhält man automatisch. Ich spiele z.B. BF1 mit allen Einstellungen auf ULTRA, in 34'' WUHD mit konstanten 60 FPS auf den komplexesten Maps. Vorhin hatte ich eine ZOTAC GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme und der Unterschied ist schon sehr brachial! Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt bei Speicher 11GB vs. 8GB machen schon was aus und gerade im UHD Bereich öffnen sich hier neue Türen. Hätte dennoch nicht gedacht, dass sich zwischen diesen 2 Karten eine so grosse Lücken bilden würde. Ich kann allen den Umstieg auf dieses Modell empfehlen, auch unter Berücksichtigung, dass man für gute gebrauchte 1080er immer noch um die CHF 500.- erhält.
