Exsys GmbH USB 2.0 to Serial RS-422/485 Cable (FTDI Chip)

The EX-1346 provides a serial RS-422/485 High Performance UART 16C550 port. It is designed to expand an additional serial port for PCs, workstations, or servers via the USB 1.1, 2.0, or 3.2 bus. It is the perfect solution for connecting barcode scanners, card readers, scales, and more. With easy installation, the system does not need to be opened, and the EX-1346 can be installed while the system is running. Additionally, a 9-pin adapter from socket to 5-pin terminal block is included.

The EX-1346 supports COM port retention, which maintains the COM port settings for serial devices when plugging and unplugging. Once assigned, COM port values are saved and automatically reassigned correctly after plugging and unplugging, even when switching between different USB ports.
