1500:1 contrast ratio according to DCI-P3 standard
In accordance with the DCI-P3 standard, the contrast ratio is high 1500:1, allowing the display of deep black tones that are not possible with conventional LCD monitors. Even when viewed from the side in a dimly lit studio, the dark tones retain their depth.
Built-in calibration sensor
Automate your calibration with the sensor built directly into the monitor housing, which only folds out automatically when in use. The sensor eliminates the need for an external calibration device and works even in portrait mode.
For CG Series monitors, self-calibration intervals can be set using the on-screen OSD menu or the supplied ColorNavigator software.
Even if the monitor is turned off or not connected to a computer, the preset calibration schedule is maintained.
Coordination with external sensors
CG Series monitors can be matched to the measurement results of external calibration sensors. The built-in sensor automatically takes over the settings after tuning.
This is useful if the monitor is used in an environment with other monitors and the attributes of a specific external calibration sensor are to be used for all monitors.
Individual adjustment in the factory
The gamma values are individually adjusted in the factory for each monitor. The red, green and blue gamma values from 0 to 255 are measured. Using the 16-bit look-up table (LUT), the desired values for the 256 color tones are then selected.
Large colour space coverage
A wide color space allows you to view the entire Adobe RGB color space, converting RAW images to Adobe RGB and correctly displaying images taken in Adobe RGB. The colors in shots showing a bright blue sky and lush green forests are reproduced true to life, which is not possible with screens with sRGB color space. The large color space also ensures a complete representation of the CMYK color system (ISO Coated and US Web Coated).
