Product details
Choose the desired charging program (Normal, AGM, Frost, Maintenance, or Night) and the microprocessor-controlled car battery charger will handle everything automatically until the charging cycle is complete and the maintenance charge for fully charged batteries is achieved. The German-language display is easy to understand and comfortable to use. For long-term charging, the ring terminal cables are securely attached to the battery of the vehicle being charged. The car battery charger is connected to the ring terminal cable via a quick-connect plug. This is very convenient, as the ring terminal cables can remain permanently attached to the battery.
The battery charger allows for a maximum fast charging current of 10 amps up to 85% charge. Therefore, charging is much shorter than with a conventional charger with a nominal current of 10A, which inherently has a declining charging current.
Camping function: As soon as power is drawn from the vehicle battery while the engine is off, it will be automatically recharged according to the program. Fixed installation in the onboard network is possible. Quiet night charging is achieved through reduced charging power with a lower fan function. After a power interruption, the automatic battery charger restarts in the last used program once power is restored. After charging step 3, the vehicle is ready to start again. A notification appears on the display.
Maintenance up to 16V: This function enhances performance and extends battery life. Night up to 14.4V: Quiet charging through reduced charging power with a lower fan function. Normal up to 14.4V: For all 12V lead-acid batteries (except AGM). AGM/Frost up to 14.7V: Frost and AGM function for an adapted charging process at low temperatures or for AGM batteries.
Eight charging steps: Step 1 "Preparation" - Breaking the sulfation. It detects batteries affected by sulfate deposits and removes these deposits using pulsed current and voltage to restore optimal charge capacity.
