Director and cameraman Jan Haft shows the different habitats where sea eagles and golden eagles live and surprises with breathtaking shots of these majestic birds.
In the High Tatras we follow the growing up of two golden eagle chicks: from the incubation of the eggs to the time when the young birds leave the eyrie. Spectacular images, such as the battle between the white-tailed eagle and the golden eagle at a crack, alternate with touching insights into the nursery of birds of prey, but also with funny moments, such as when the chicks in the nest are visited by mice and butterflies.
The habitat of white-tailed eagles extends far into the north of our continent: in Norwegian Lofoten, they migrate with orcas and humpback whales to profit from their hunting success. But also in the bogs of Finland, where they are close to wolf.…more
