HDMI 1.4 standard compliant cable. The HDMI cable is designed for transmitting digital video and audio. In an HDMI cable, the video signal is uncompressed, which prevents the degradation of image quality that would occur with digital-to-analog-to-digital conversion.
HDMI 1.4 cables also have Ethernet support, allowing HDMI cables to be used for creating local area networks. Furthermore, 1.4 standard cables include an audio return channel, enabling HDMI devices to transmit audio to each other in both directions using the same HDMI cable. Additionally, the new cables support 3D video and resolutions up to 4096 x 2160. The cable can also transmit two 1080p video signals simultaneously.
