The cable is made from a TPE material that provides good resistance against oil, wear, and UV light. It remains flexible even in cold temperatures. Type 2 sockets are now the EU standard, used by car manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo. The charging of the car is monitored through a two-way communication between the car and the charger. When the cable is connected to the car, a self-test is conducted to ensure the cable is properly connected and the car is ready to receive power before charging begins. The cable's connectors are mechanically locked in place when energized, providing protection against theft and unauthorized use during charging. After charging, unlock the car to release the mechanical lock and remove the charging cable from the car's side first to disconnect it from the charger.
