Champion lives in a tiny house next to the railway embankment with his grandmother, Madame Souza, who adopted him. He's a lonely little boy, and Madame Souza would do anything to see him happy. When she finds out that the boy is nowhere happier than on the bike, she starts an intensive training program with him. The years go by and Champion proves himself more and more worthy of his name. Finally, the time has come: he will compete in the most famous bicycle race in the world, the Tour de France.
But during the arduous stage through the mountains Champion is kidnapped by two mysterious men in black. However, they did not count on their worried granny, because Madame Souza and her faithful dog Bruno are on their heels.
The Odyssey takes her on a rubber dinghy across the ocean to the American megalopolis Belleville.…more
