Description

Print beautiful photos with vibrant colors and impressive details. Canon's FINE inkjet printing system, improved print head technology and 6 separate ink tanks - including grey - provide improved colour gradation in dark areas, less grain, deeper blacks and therefore photos that look better than ever before.

The slim and space-saving housing is now 30% smaller than its predecessor. Intelligent contrasting structures, rounded corners and tapering contours make the already compact device appear even smaller. A first-class device, inside and outside.

Connect and print. Thanks to WLAN and support for mobile device printing via Mopria for Android, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Windows 10 Mobile and the Canon PRINT App, printing from a wide range of devices is possible. Android mobile devices with NFC support can print and scan with just one touch. The SD card slot and support for WLAN cameras complement the photo printing options.

More than just a printer, this versatile multifunctional system makes scanning and copying documents quick and easy. Easy-to-use features enable lab-quality photo printing and pin-sharp text documents.

Printing resolution

Up to a point, printers with higher DPI produce clearer and more detailed output. A printer does not necessarily have a single DPI measurement; it is dependent on print mode, which is usually influenced by driver settings. The range of DPI supported by a printer is most dependent on the print head technology it uses. A dot matrix printer, for example, applies ink via tiny rods striking an ink ribbon, and has a relatively low resolution, typically in the range of 60 to 90 DPI. An inkjet printer sprays ink through tiny nozzles, and is typically capable of 300-600 DPI. A laser printer applies toner through a controlled electrostatic charge, and may be in the range of 600 to 1800 DPI.

Printers are measured in pages per minute. These measures are used primarily as a marketing tool, and are not well standardised. Usually pages per minute refers to sparse monochrome office documents, rather than dense pictures which usually print much more slowly. Copy

A photocopier (also known as a copier or copy machine) is a machine that makes paper copies of documents and other visual images quickly and cheaply. Most current photocopiers use a technology called xerography, a dry process using heat. (Copiers can also use other technologies such as ink jet, but xerography is standard for office copying.)

Color depth is a computer graphics term describing the number of bits used to represent the color of a single pixel in a bitmapped image or video frame buffer. This concept is also known as bits per pixel (bpp), particularly when specified along with the number of bits used. Higher color depth gives a broader range of distinct colors.

USB
i

USB

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is an industry standard developed in the mid-1990s that defines the cables, connectors and protocols used for connection, communication and power supply between computers and electronic devices.

USB was designed to standardize the connection of computer peripherals, such as keyboards, pointing devices, digital cameras, printers, portable media players, disk drives and network adapters to personal computers, both to communicate and to supply electric power. It has become commonplace on other devices, such as smartphones, PDAs and video game consoles. USB has effectively replaced a variety of earlier interfaces, such as serial and parallel ports, as well as separate power chargers for portable devices.

When the input information is supplied as to electrical signal, the display is called electronic display. Electronic displays are available for presentation of visual, tactile and auditory information.

Touchscreen
i

Touchscreen

A touchscreen is a display which can detect the presence and location of a touch within the display area. The term generally refers to touch or contact to the display of the device by a finger or hand. Touchscreens can also sense other passive objects, such as a stylus. However, if the object sensed is active, as with a light pen, the term touchscreen is generally not applicable. The ability to interact directly with a display typically indicates the presence of a touchscreen.

Display size
i

Display size

The size of a display is typically given as the distance between two opposite screen corners. One problem with this method is that it does not distinguish between the aspect ratios of monitors with identical diagonal sizes, in spite of the fact that a shape of a given diagonal span's area decreases as it becomes less square. For example, a 4:3 21" monitor has an area of ~211 square inches, while a 16:9 21" widescreen has an area of only ~188 square inches.

i

Data storage properties

A data storage device is a device for recording (storing) information (data). Recording can be done using virtually any form of energy, spanning from manual muscle power in handwriting, to acoustic vibrations in phonographic recording, to electromagnetic energy modulating magnetic tape and optical discs. A storage device may hold information, process information, or both. A device that only holds information is a recording medium. Devices that process information (data storage equipment) may either access a separate portable (removable) recording medium or a permanent component to store and retrieve information.

Secure Digital (SD) is a flash (non-volatile) memory card format developed by Matsushita, SanDisk, and Toshiba for use in portable devices. Today it is widely used in digital cameras, handheld computers, PDAs, mobile phones, GPS receivers, and video game consoles. SD card capacities range from 8 MB to 2 GB and from 4 GB to 32 GB for SDHC cards as of 2008.

,
miniSD
i

miniSD

The miniSD Card is a small form factor removable and portable memory device intended for use in cell phones/mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players and many other gadgets.
In a March 13, 2003 press release, SanDisk Corporation announced the introduction of the miniSD and demonstrated it at CeBIT 2003.
The miniSD card was adopted in 2003 by the SD Association as an ultra-small form factor extension to the SD card standard. While the new cards were designed especially for use in mobile phones, they are usually packaged with a miniSD adapter which enables compatibility with all devices equipped with a standard SD Memory Card slot.
The miniSD card is often confused with the microSD card which is another, smaller, SD derivation. The microSD card may be used in miniSD devices through use of an adapter, but miniSD cards can not be used in microSD devices.

microSDHC

microSD is a format for removable flash memory cards. The SD stands for Secure Digital. It is commonly used in cellular phones, but also in handheld GPS devices, portable media players, digital audio players, expandable USB flash memory drives, and for Nintendo DS flashcards, along with digital cameras.

microSD
i

microSD

microSD is a format for removable flash memory cards. It is derived from SanDisk TransFlash and is used mainly in mobile telephones, but also in handheld GPS devices, portable audio players, video game consoles and expandable USB flash memory drives.
It is currently (2008) the smallest memory card available commercially. At 15mm × 11mm × 0.7mm (about the size of a fingernail), it is about a quarter the size of an SD card. There are adapters which allow a microSD card to be used in devices intended for SD, miniSD, or MemoryStick Duo cards. However, they are not universally compatible.

Ungenügend

Drucker funktionierte drei Monate einwandfrei. Danach folgten etliche Probleme.
