The sturdy design includes an impressive 60-sheet feeder that can feed different types of documents to increase productivity in the workplace. The DR-M160II offers highly reliable document feed capabilities for various document types, including thick and very thin paper, business cards, credit cards and documents up to three meters long. Designed for up to 7,000 scans per day, the DR-M160II's heavy-duty feed rolls and rugged paper transport make it extremely durable and suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Thanks to a novel separation system, the scanner can automatically re-feed documents if a double-feed occurs in exceptional cases. This reduces intervention by the user to a minimum. With the double-feed unlock key, users can quickly ignore double-feed detection and continue scanning - very useful when scanning envelopes.
Intuitive software package for easy operation
The imageFormula DR-M160II comes with an easy-to-use software package for smooth scanning and document management. CaptureOnTouch has an intuitive user interface with Full Auto Mode for simplified scanning. It also supports scanning to multiple file formats (searchable PDF, PDF-A, TIFF, JPEG, BMP and PowerPoint) and connectivity to SharePoint. CapturePerfect software is ideal for processing large volumes of scans because it has outstanding viewing capabilities and delivery methods, including direct delivery of documents to folders, email, and SharePoint. Also included are industry-leading Kofax VRS Basic image processing software (with AIPE) and eCopy PDF Pro Office for fast creation, editing and conversion of PDF documents.
For scanning bound documents and books, the DR-M160II can be connected to Canon's optional FB201 (A3) or FB101 (A4) flatbed units. Further options are the barcode module III and a 2D barcode module.
