Audio can now be extracted from SDI and optical SMPTE signals! Simply plug in an SMPTE fiber module of your choice and you're ready to transmit video with embedded audio over vast distances via 3G, 6G
and 12G optical SDI signals. There are standard XLR connectors for balanced analog or digital AES/EBU audio as well as RCA outputs for HiFi and an optical audio output. Fiber optic SFP modules are offered separately. This allows you to purchase the SMPTE-compatible SFP module for 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI or 12G-SDI best suited to your workflow. With an optional Smart Panel, your Teranex Mini can even be expanded to include LCD image control and button control.
