Fast 800 Mbps and longest range through WLAN N (2.4 GHz
Optimum connection to several WLAN devices used simultaneously thanks to extended multi-antenna procedure (MU-MIMO)
Telephone system with versatile convenience functions for all telephones (analogue, ISDN, DECT and IP telephones)
Analog telephones, -fax, -answering machine, -door intercom connectable
Up to 6 cordless phones can be used via integrated DECT base, e.g. all FRITZ!Fon models
Simple, German user interface for all settings
4 ultra-fast Gigabit LAN ports for computers, televisions and other network devices
1 Gigabit WAN connection for connection to cable or fiber optic modems
2 analog lines, 1 ISDN-S0 line

VDSL Supervectoring and intelligent high-end WLAN
The FRITZ! 7590 from AVM is the first router with VDSL Supervectoring and innovative WLAN in 4x4 multi-user MIMO technology. The high-end WLAN provides even more range and significantly higher speeds of up to 2,533 Mbps. VDSL Supervectoring with up to 300 MBit/s Internet speed makes the FRITZ!Box 7590 ready for all current and future broadband connection requirements. The FRITZ! 7590 Box connects all computers, smartphones, tablets, printers and other network-compatible devices to the home network with the usual convenience. Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 and the telephone system with DECT base station and connections for ISDN and analogue telephones complete the versatile communication offer.

High-end WLAN AC+N with 1,733 + 800 Mbps
The extended multi-antenna method (4x4 multi-user MIMO) enables an optimal connection to several WLAN devices used simultaneously. At the same time, the FRITZ! box transmits in parallel in the 2.4 GHz (WLAN N) and 5 GHz (WLAN AC) frequency bands thanks to dual WLAN, which means that two WLAN networks can actually be provided and data rates of up to 2,533 Mbit/s can be achieved in total. Broadband intensive applications can thus be used in parallel operation and on several WLAN devices - without loss of speed and stability. Multi-user MIMO further increases data throughput in the home network and WLAN devices that also support MU-MIMO benefit from maximum speed through simultaneous data transfer.

Telephony options for every requirement
Analog and ISDN telephones as well as up to six DECT cordless telephones (e.g. FRITZ!Fon) can be registered at the integrated PBX. WLAN also turns smartphones into full-fledged landline/VoIP phones. Several integrated answering machines, local and online telephone books and numerous convenience functions complete the wide range of telephony services offered by the FRITZ!Box 7590. smarthome devices such as the switchable FRITZ!DECT 200 socket can also be controlled via the DECT base station.

Versatile multimedia functions
The FRITZ! box brings all connected USB memory as well as online memory and contents stored on it into the home network. Thanks to the integrated media server with NAS connection, stored films, music and images are made available and can be distributed to playback devices via tablet or smartphone, for example. USB 3.0 ensures extra fast data transfer. The FRITZ!box 7590 is a powerful platform for networked multimedia applications such as IPTV, video on demand or streaming. Thanks to several Eco-Mode automatisms, the FRITZ! 7590 always remains very economical in consumption.

Does not work on CH-DSL connections, can only be used as a router.

Routers

A router is a device that forwards data packets between computer networks, creating an overlay internetwork. A router is connected to two or more data lines from different networks. When a data packet comes in one of the lines, the router reads the address information in the packet to determine its ultimate destination. Then, using information in its routing table or routing policy, it directs the packet to the next network on its journey. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. A data packet is typically forwarded from one router to another through the networks that constitute the internetwork until it gets to its destination node.

Very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL or VHDSL) is a digital subscriber line (DSL) technology providing faster[vague] data transmission over a single flat untwisted or twisted pair of copper wires (up to 52 Mbit/s downstream and 16 Mbit/s upstream), and on coaxial cable (up to 85 Mbit/s down- and upstream); using the frequency band from 25 kHz to 12 MHz. These rates mean that VDSL is capable of supporting applications such as high-definition television, as well as telephone services (voice over IP) and general Internet access, over a single connection.

802.11b

802.11b has a maximum raw data rate of 11 Mbit/s and uses the same media access method defined in the original standard. 802.11b products appeared on the market in early 2000, since 802.11b is a direct extension of the modulation technique defined in the original standard. The dramatic increase in throughput of 802.11b (compared to the original standard) along with simultaneous substantial price reductions led to the rapid acceptance of 802.11b as the definitive wireless LAN technology.

The advanced protocol, certified through Wi-Fi Alliance's WPA2 program, implements the mandatory elements of 802.11i. In particular, it introduces a new AES-based algorithm, CCMP, that is considered fully secure. From March 13, 2006, WPA2 certification is mandatory for all new devices wishing to be certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance as "Wi-Fi CERTIFIED." PSK means that it is only for Pre-Shared-Key mode.

FRITZ!Box 7590 DE-Version
