OmniStream is powered by the advanced VCx codec which delivers 4K/60 4:4:4 from encode to decode, with pristine-quality presentation of computer-generated and fast-motion video content.

Ultra-fast switching
A user can switch between video streams up to 4K/60 from OmniStream AV encoders with less than a half-second transition. Fast switching works between video streams at different resolutions and frame rates.

Designed for system expansion
The VCx codec is highly efficient, allowing numerous 4K and 1080p streams over 10 Gigabit uplinks between network switches. This is a powerful advantage when designing systems for scalability.

Two AV encoders in one
The OMNI-512 features two channels of encoding in a single box. This enables high-density equipment installations in racks, saving valuable space while allowing units to be stacked due to front-to-back air cooling.
