Das Tinker Board hat dieselbe Grösse sowie das selbe Anschluss-Layout wie der Raspberry Pi. Daher sind die Pi-Gehäuse mit dem Board kompatibel.

Es kann jedes Ladegerät verwendet werden. Es sind die gleichen Anschlüsse verwendbar.

Somit ja.

Je nach dem wie die Auslastung ist, würde ich jedoch ein etwas stärkeres Netzteil verwenden.

Wie sieht es mit dem Betriebssystem aus? Läuft das gleich wie beim Raspi oder kann man darauf auch Windows laufen lassen?

Jedes ARM basierte Betriebsystem läuft darauf.
Theoretisch würde Windows 8 / 8.1 RTM darauf laufen.. Wenn es einen Setup gäbe.
Das normale Desktop-Windows, welches du vom Heimischen PC oder Arbeits-PC läuft, wird hierbei nicht funktionieren. Dies ist ein sogenannter IA-32 (x86 / x64) Prozessor.

Gut aber einige Punkte zu verbessern.

Ich hatte am Anfang auch Probleme (Automatisches Sperren und plötzlicher Reboot). Nach dem Kauf einer schnelleren SD-Karte und einem Update (also apt-get update/upgrade) waren beide Fehler verschwunden. Von der Leistung bin ich überzeugt. Dass es zur Zeit sehr wenig Support gibt stimmt leider. Und eine grosse Auswahl an Betriebssystemen gibt es auch nicht, da die meisten für die Raspberry Pi oder Intels Geräte sind. Ausserdem wurde mir mit einem Telefonat mit einem Asus Supporter gesagt, ich könne das Board gar nicht (gekauft) haben, da es in Europa noch nicht verfügbar sei. ^^

Update am 23.4.17
Asus hat jetzt einige verbesserte Images zum Download bereitgestellt die deutlich besser funktionieren, unter anderem funktionieren Youtube-Videos jetzt deutlich besser, bzw. reibungslos. Übrigens: Kodi (17, Krypton) läuft gut darauf, nur selten fängt es auf Grund von zu heisser CPU an zu flackern.

Die Dokumentationen kommen allerdings überhaupt nicht kompetent rüber, vor allem nicht wenn es von so einem riesigen Unternehmen wie Asus kommt.

Tinker Board (RK3288)

Nein danke!

Ich wollte mit dem tinkerboard ein webcam-projekt realisieren. Nichts besonderes, tinkerboard, eine oder zwei usb-webcams dran und gut ist. Sollte man meinen....
Ja ich habe viel zeit investiert, sehr viel zeit. Getestet mit dietpi, armbian und natürlich tinkerOS. Am wenigsten hat mir das tinkerOS gefallen. Ich weiss nicht ob es witzig oder traurig ist, aber die entwickler scheinen nicht viel ahnung von linux zu haben.
Na jedenfalls funktionieren die cams mit keinem der getesteten betriebssystemen. Mit etwas glück bekommt man ein standbild, aber meistens reicht es nicht mal dazu. Selbst mit kernel-parametern (quirks) und einem aktiven USB-Hub läuft es nicht.
Abschliessend kann ich nicht sagen ob es ein hardware- oder software-problem ist. Für mich ist es einfach nur "elektroschrott".
Werde es nun zurück bringen und eine andere lösung suchen.
Auf einem uralten thinclient (1Ghz single core VIA) läuft es übrigens problemlos. Nur ist mir dieser zu gross.
Edit: Ich habe es nun auf einem BananaPi probiert und es lief sofort! Und man glaubt es kaum, aber auf dem RaPi laufen die cams mit max 1024x768@7fps (mit bildstörungen), mehr geht nicht. Auf dem TB geht es überhaupt nicht. Mit dem BananaPi laufen 2 cams mit 1600x1200@5fps problemlos! B-)

Cooles Board

Erstaunlich schnell für so ein günstiges Board. Der Browser lässt sich sehr gut bedienen und die auf Debian basierende Distribution läuft stabil. Ich hoffe das Board bekommt viele Fans.
