Description

AiMesh activates new functions for mesh operation via firmware update. This allows uninterrupted roaming throughout the house without having to forego classic router functions.

Thanks to Triband, the RT-AC5300 offers a dedicated radio band for communication between the routers, which does not reduce the speed.

With other home WLAN systems (often referred to as mesh networks), you are limited to using suitable hubs, which are usually only available in a multi-device package. Your old router does not work with these systems, so you have to get rid of it - an expensive and uneconomical affair. AiMesh is much more flexible and cost-effective: If you already own an ASUS router, you can use it in your AiMesh network. This is possible because we are constantly adding new functions to existing routers! Auf der ASUS Website wird kein Unterschied zwischen diesem Modell und dem RT-AC88U gemacht... Die Mesh-Fähigkeit soll dank einem Firmwareupgrade möglich sein....?! Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?
