Product details

The industrial mobile router ICR-2412 is designed for wireless communication in LPWA mobile networks LTE Cat-M/Cat-NB, with fallback to the traditional 2G GPRS/EDGE network. The GPRS/EDGE 2G standard allows for use in areas where LTE Cat-M/Cat-NB signal coverage is still being developed. The ICR-2412 is the ideal gateway for global IoT applications, as it supports a wide range of mobile frequency bands. Among other things, the router also supports the European LTE 450 MHz spectrum (B31 and B72), which is a key frequency for wireless communication in critical infrastructures, such as energy distribution. The router is equipped with two independently configurable Ethernet ports (LAN or WAN), a serial RS232 port, an RS485 port, and digital I/O connectivity (1 DI, 1 DO). The router supports the establishment of VPN tunnels with various protocols to ensure secure communication. It offers diagnostic features that include automatic monitoring of wireless and wired connections, automatic reboot in case of connection losses, and a hardware watchdog to monitor the router's status. The router is based on the ICR-OS operating system. The open Linux platform allows for a wide range of possibilities for programming customer software applications in Python, C/C++. The router supports the uploading of RouterApps (user modules) that extend the standard firmware functionalities. The existing app library, which can be downloaded for free by customers, includes already developed software apps to enhance specific router functions, including the conversion of industrial protocols, support for IoT platforms such as MS Azure, Cumulocity, ThingWorx, and much more. Package includes: Advantech - ICR-2412.
