Description

The TravelMate P648-M combines high performance and reliability with an impressive choice of interfaces. With its seventh-generation Core i7 processor, 12GB of DDR4 memory and integrated graphics solution, it delivers more than enough power for the most demanding graphics and multimedia applications. In terms of connectivity, the P648-M is anything but modest: Thanks to current standards, network and Internet access are fast and reliable, whether wired or wireless. Not only the fast 802.11ac standard for WLANs, but also 802.11ad for wireless coupling to WiGig docking stations is supported. External monitors can be connected via HDMI or VGA. Three USB 3.0 ports (Type A) and, as a special highlight, a Thunderbolt 3 port await your other peripherals and storage media. The Thunderbolt 3 connector is the fast all-rounder among peripheral interfaces: Its form factor is identical to that of the current USB Type C connector, and therefore also compatible with USB Type C devices. However, its speed leaves other peripheral ports far behind: 83x faster than USB 2.0, 8x faster than USB 3.0 and twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2. In addition to a number of peripherals in series, it can also be used for hardware-hungry expansions - from 4K monitors to external graphics cards. Like their predecessors, the seventh-generation Intel Core processors (Kaby Lake) are based on the energy-efficient 14nm architecture, which does not overheat even under full load, but delivers more power at the same power consumption. The graphics solution has been improved and allows many features previously reserved for dedicated graphics cards - from video and photo editing to gaming and 4K video playback. Thanks to Turbo Boost 2.0 and optimized Speed Shift technology, the processor adjusts its clock rate very quickly to the load and always finds the right balance between energy consumption and performance. Two solid-state drives (SSD) with a capacity of 512 GB each are used as mass storage and boot drive. The main advantages of this storage medium are the fast access times and the high read and write speeds that outperform conventional hard disks. Another advantage is that SSDs contain no moving parts. This leads not only to lower power consumption, but also to increased robustness, as no parts wear out mechanically. In addition, SSDs are absolutely noiseless.more

German is a West Germanic language, thus related to and classified alongside English and Dutch. It is one of the world's major languages and the most widely spoken first language in the European Union. Globally, German is spoken by approximately 120 million native speakers and also by about 80 million non-native speakers. Standard German is widely taught in schools, universities and Goethe Institutes worldwide.

French (français, IPA: [fʁɑ̃sɛ]) is a Romance language spoken as a first language by around 136 million people worldwide.[1][4] A total of 250 million speak it as either a first or as a second language. Moreover, roughly 110 million people learn French as a second or third language. French speaking communities are present in 57 countries and territories. Most native speakers of the language live in France, the rest live essentially in Canada, particularly Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario, as well as Belgium, Algeria, Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, and certain places in the U.S. states of Maine and Louisiana. Most second-language speakers of French live in Francophone Africa, arguably exceeding the number of native speakers.

Italian ( italiano (help·info), or lingua italiana) is a Romance language spoken as a native language by about 70 million people in Italy, Malta, San Marino and parts of Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia and France. In addition, it is spoken by an additional 120 to 150 million people as a non-native language. Most native speakers are native bilinguals of both standardised Italian and regional varieties.
In Switzerland, Italian is one of four official languages, spoken mainly in the Swiss cantons of Grigioni and Ticino.

English

English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria. Following the economic, political, military, scientific, cultural, and colonial influence of Great Britain and the United Kingdom from the 18th century, via the British Empire, and of the United States since the mid-20th century, it has been widely dispersed around the world, become the leading language of international discourse, and has acquired use as lingua franca in many regions. It is widely learned as a second language and used as an official language of the European Union and many Commonwealth countries, as well as in many world organizations. It is the third most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

Max. TDP

The thermal design power (TDP), sometimes called thermal design point, refers to the maximum amount of power the cooling system in a computer is required to dissipate. For example, a laptop's CPU cooling system may be designed for a 20 watt TDP, which means that it can dissipate up to 20 watts of heat without exceeding the maximum junction temperature for the computer chip. It can do this using an active cooling method such as a fan or any of the three passive cooling methods, convection, thermal radiation or conduction. Typically, a combination of methods is used. The TDP is typically not the most power the chip could ever draw, such as by a power virus, but rather the maximum power that it would draw when running "real applications". This ensures the computer will be able to handle essentially all applications without exceeding its thermal envelope, or requiring a cooling system for the maximum theoretical power (which would cost more but in favor of extra headroom for processing power).

Graphics card properties

A video card, video adapter, graphics accelerator card, display adapter, or graphics card is an expansion card which generates output images to a display. Most video cards offer added functions, such as accelerated rendering of 3D scenes and 2D graphics, video capture, TV-tuner adapter, MPEG-2/MPEG-4 decoding, FireWire, light pen, TV output, or the ability to connect multiple monitors (multi-monitor). Other modern high performance video cards are used for more graphically demanding purposes, such as PC games.

VGA

A VGA connector as it is commonly known (other names include RGB connector, D-sub 15, mini sub D15 and mini D15) is a three-row 15 pin DE-15. There are four versions: original and DDC2 pinouts, the far older and less flexible DE-9 connector, and a Mini-VGA used for laptops.
The common 15-pin VGA connector found on most video cards, computer monitors, and other devices, is almost universally called "HD-15". HD stands for "high-density", which distinguishes it from connectors having the same form factor but only 2 rows of pins. However, this connector is often incorrectly referred to as a DB-15 or HDB-15.[citation needed]
"VGA connectors" and their associated cabling are almost always used solely to carry analog component RGBHV (red - green - blue - horizontal sync - vertical sync) video signals along with DDC2 digital clock and data.
Where size is a constraint (such as laptops) a mini-VGA port can sometimes be found in place of the full-sized VGA connector.

Net, however, good devices achieve three times as many as 3-stream MiMO devices. Data transmission is exclusively in the 5 GHz band and requires a larger channel width of 80 MHz, optionally a channel width of 160 MHz.
