All hail the first trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

The marching orders are in. Once again – as the game's subheading, "Infinite Warfare", suggests – the time has come to fight the endless war. The latest game in the “Call of Duty” series takes up where the last one left off. So more outer space action is to be expected.

While the other repeat offender “Assassin’s Creed” is finally taking a break this year, the war series “Call of Duty” just keeps on blowing stuff up. “Infinite War” is the name of the latest game that is bound to give us some explosive days and weeks as of 4 November. Similar to its predecessors, the mood is futuristic and jam-packed with starships and space battles. As expected, the trigger happy trailer is spectacular and action-packed. The best, however, was saved until last. The end of the video gives you a sneak preview of the HD remastered re-release of “Modern Warfare” – the cult game that single-handedly blew the “Call of Duty” hype out of proportion.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast . To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
