Rating on Acer V7500 (Full HD, 2500lm, nVidia 3DTV Play, 1.07 - 1.45:1, DLP, UHP).

Not worth it at all

Disappointing. Menu system and remote is horrible. Contrast is pretty bad. Blacks are meh. The unit is big. And the lens shift knob broke (was fixed on warranty).

I got better picture quality from two years older Epson projector with LCD technology and in smaller package.

I only bought this projector because I wanted to try DLP technology, and I had some restrictions about the location of the projector (ceiling, and 3 meters from the wall, and wanted big picture, so it restricted focus, lens shift and zoom factors), and it was only reasonable option at the time.

So, if your main concern is location of the projector (ceiling, len shift, zoom and focus limitations), then sure you can get it. I was frustrated with many things in this projector, but one can live with it, and after adjusting, fiddling with menus, and cables, and mounting, hopefully, you do not need to do it again.

The image and colour quality is decent, or even good, do not get me wrong, it is just not super good. Adjusting settings will help a lot, but it takes really really long to find good settings.

- Sound is okish, but pretty meh
