The device is easy to setup and use, just insert SIM, connect and will be working fine. In my case working with Sunrise CH. No need to advance configuration, although is also convenient the ability to access the interface via Web administration to configure routing settings, firewall, wifi SSID etc..and also support for mobile APP to check connection status, data usage, etc.
The not so nice: the wireless coverage, while is good within the same room, is not great if planning on using across multiple rooms, where the coverage will be really weak or inexistent, so antenna might be recommended.
The biggest issue for me was the inability to work on AC power only (with no battery) after upgrading the firmware. Trying to downgrade or factory reset didn't work, so Netgear started a replacement process since is a faulty device. Looks like a common issue on the forums, with no solution or firmware upgrade planned. I would expect this from a cheap hardware/no brand device purchased on ebay from China for 50CHF rather than a brand like Netgear and the actual price.
