Absolutely amazing. VR is finally here, and it's everything we hoped. Brings whole new gaming and creative experiences.
Surprising things: it's great for kids. A five year old can start playing with only minimal help. It's also great for people who usually suffer motion sickness with 3D games. Yes, you read that right: the Vive produces no motion sickness, even for people who are unable to game on a screen.
Biggest downside right now is that the software range is relatively limited -- there's certainly enough to keep you busy, but there's obviously a lot more coming. Online multiplayer games are often empty, another downside to the small player base.
My recommendations: SculptVR, job simulator, battle dome, modbox, rec room.
If you have enough space and someone to play with: get two. Seriously.
