    Works fine

As the new fibre optic router does not include DECT connectivity I was looking for a cheap replacement for a Panasonic KX-TGQ200G. The Panasonic had everything I needed and a very good sound. Both for normal phone calls and for hands-free calls.

The W52P is a little smaller and fits very well in the hand. The pressure point of the keys is much better than the Panasonic. The keys are made of plastic and will probably not wear out as quickly as the rubber caps on the Panasonic. The button with the directional pad is very poorly designed. It's built as a frame around the OK button. The edge is very thin, so I either have to be very careful not to press the OK button at the same time or use my fingernails. Also a label for the functions is missing. that is the panasonic solved much better.

From the phone functions are both about the same. The most important functions are there, you can store numbers, etc..

I found the voice quality better on the Panasonic. Especially the speakerphone function sounds a lot better.

The Panasonic has a monochrome display. This means that it requires little power and you can see the time, etc. even without backlighting. This does not work with the Yealink. The color display is easy to read, but must always be illuminated to display anything.

The Yealink has a USB port in the battery compartment, so you can easily update the firmware from the PC. find I good.

The Yealink has very extensive setting options via the software. This can be accessed and configured via the IP address in the brwoser. It took me a while to figure out in which fields the phone number belongs and in which fields the number for the user account. Unfortunately this is a bit different with every phone provider I have seen so far. Too bad it's not called the same everywhere.

All in all, I'm very satisfied so far, especially with the build quality.
