Avoid sending them by post, as they may arrive defective depending on the packaging.
Or a little tip: always order the plates individually (never together), then it goes much better.

Disc received from Digitec in straight cast condition! Production date: 18.9.2012! Really fast, as promised on WD website. Will be used as a data nas. But in
big miditower case and makes no noise!
Data: 550 Giga copied in 1 hour and 25 minutes. On average about 130 Mega per second. Requirement latest mainboard from Asus P9X79. Very satisfied, also 3 years warranty! Buy! Henrys01

I am disappointed.
Here are my problems:
5 Ordered by mail.
-1 had a fault, probably the controller, returned, got new via bring in.
1 was delivered new, also by mail
-1 same problem, returned, got a new one by bring in.
1 I picked up, works
after RAID initialisation (c.a. 85 hours runtime of all disks) there were errors with another one. According to the SMART values, it has a far too high error rate, and other irregularities.
Conclusion: 5 ordered, 7 I had in my hand, one is causing problems and the bring-in guarantee has expired.
Pick up the plate personally.
