The remote is too small and the buttons are very soft, overall the device makes a cheap impression. An HDMI cable is not included.
The Blu-ray player is well suited for Blu-ray and DVD movies and plays them flawlessly. The picture quality is good, especially the color reproduction is worthy of recognition. These appear very strong and natural, so nature shots in particular come across very well. The depth of black is also positive, it doesn't have a gray shimmer here like some other players. The Full HD option also generates a very sharp picture. The sound is reproduced well, but depends on the speakers used. DVDs that are played back via the player look good overall in Full HD.
In general, all of the player's functions are satisfactory, were it not for a few negative points. The player tends to hang up as soon as you use smart apps, such as Netflix or Spotify. The player is extremely slow, which is very annoying. It is unfortunately very loud in operation.
If you connect the player to the Internet via LAN cable, you can access many apps, through which you get a respectable access to all sorts of things.

This blu ray / DVD player is written about as region free. Do not be fooled. This is absolutely not true. Perhaps a professional hacker can find their way, but That is not me. I am thoroughly frustrated that with my huge collection of DVD’s and Blu Ray’s from all different regions (I am a world citizen), it has become harder these days to find a player that plays everything. This does not make sense at all in this day and age where we can stream anything from anywhere. What gives?
