Ideal travel zoom and always-on zoom

I bought the Sigma 18-200 as a travel zoom and prime lens. It takes great pictures. I have used it on the D3400, D5600 and D7200. It works flawlessly. The compact, robust and lightweight design is ideal for hiking, travelling and snapshots. Together with my D5600 you have a lightweight kit.
I can also recommend the lens to beginners. It offers everything you need. You should put a protective glass on the front to avoid scratching the lens.
I have used the lens in all weather conditions.
It fits all digital Nikon cameras and is on a par with the Nikon 18-200, in my opinion even better.
As a variant, Sigma also has an 18-300mm zoom. However, the image quality drops noticeably.
The lens is designed for the DX format.

Decent lens, good value for money

Nice lens in clarity and fast enough, but after > 2 years now can be clunky with sticky switches for locking the zoom down and manual/auto. 18-200mm is my quiver-killer and I rarely use other lenses now.
