    Buy for a server or NAS that does not need to be silent

    Note that this is an Enterprise drive, so hopefully it will last long. Be aware that it does not have all standard Desktop screw locations, only the 4 far opposite ones on the side instead of 6. Also note that it runs hotter than most drives at around 40-45°C whether it is running hard or idling.

    Noisier than a NAS or Desktop drive, but reaches speeds expected from a 7200 rpm drive. The noise consists of clicks and constant hum

    • Fast 7200 rpm drive
    • Great capacity for the price (better than ironwolf pro)
    • Enterprise level but still SATA consumer hardware

    Top product

    I used 2 disks in the tvs 671 (capacity expansion), the disks were recognised immediately and the mirroring of the data could be started.
    I haven't measured the throughput, but I certainly don't notice any deterioration     compared to before.
