Good monitor with the stand of horror.

The monitor itself is great but not perfect the monitor stand is the stand of the grey it is huge and if you have the desk against the wall you either lose half the desk or you take the desk away from the wall.
    I solved
this by using the Vesa mount and the stand of an old Eizo monitor. it's also kind of funny that when you go from 1.4 to 1.2 in the Displayport type settings, the response time is much slower. but that's complaining at a high level. otherwise, I'm very happy with the monitor and it's definitely not a bad buy. it's important that this is a gaming monitor and is therefore only suitable for working and image editing under certain conditions.

And to all those who buy this monitor, for heaven's sake set the refresh rate to 144hz. this is a monitor with 144hz and it's not enough to simply switch on the monitor, you also have to set it in Windows or Linux, otherwise it will only run at 60hz. I mention this here again explicitly because it's annoying every time people buy a monitor like this and then claim they don't notice any difference between 60 and 144hz because they simply plugged in the monitor and didn't set anything else.

    Pro

    • Curved
    • Good picture quality for a gaming monitor
    • 144hz
    • 1440p

    Contra

    • Monitor stand
    • Anti-reflective display foil glitters

A good introduction to HDR gaming.

Currently one of the best HDR PC monitors in its price segment.

However, it has a number of teething problems at the factory.
It is therefore strongly recommended to install the latest monitor BIOS and to install the
monitor using the device installation tool in Windows.
If you do not do this, you may experience connection problems in dual-monitor mode or the monitor may not reliably recognise HDR content.
In addition, the Freesync range is unnecessarily limited in old BIOS versions.

HDR even runs Dolby Vision bsw. in Mass Effect: Andromeda and makes another decent leap from HDR10. This is despite the fact that the display officially works with interpolated 8Bit.
The brightness is good, as is the contrast. Black levels are meh, the optional local dimming a joke.

    Pro

    • Freesync 2 HDR600 range from 0-144Hz (incl. frame doubling)
    • 1440p perfect resolution for 27
    • Good contrast thanks to VA panel
    • Maximum brightness relatively close to blinding (Bsw. in Lord of the Rings: Shadow of War).
    • HUD display easy to use.
    • Height adjustable and can be turned & rotated.
    • Great colours and therefore great image thanks to Quantum Dot filter

    Contra

    • Sharpening function via backlight strobe does not work combined with Freesync 2 HDR
    • PWM brightness control -> always leave brightness at 100%, otherwise eyes tire more quickly
    • Local dimming with 8 edge LEDs borders on a bare joke.
    • Quite uneven illumination, but this does not bother with colourful pictures.
    • Compared to my full FALD TV, only light grey black.
    • In SDR (8bit) operation, dirty screen effects from time to time.
    • Monitor stand needs quite a lot of depth
    • Pseudo-"Ambilight" is really very light and therefore unusable, the main thing is RGB LEDs!!!1elf

    Great screen!

Great gaming screen, nothing to complain about, it keeps all its promises.

I have rediscovered games thanks to it (and a PC that can handle it of course)

    It's a great screen:
The stand supplied with it is, it must
be said, beautiful, but it takes a lot of depth on the desk.
You just have to use another stand to solve this problem ("Arctic Z1 Basic" for me, which looks very good too)
