MikroTik sells really great hardware with professional firmware and OS at unbeatable prices. The devices can be configured down to the smallest detail via CLI, software (WinBox) or web interface. The downside, however, is that you should be familiar with network technology and preferably Linux (RouterOS is in effect a small Linux) or be prepared to invest time accordingly.
The practical thing about the AC is that it can be easily integrated into an existing MikroTik infrastructure via CAPsMAN and configured via a central instance. Since most Mikrotik routers have at least one PoE-out, there is no need for an additional power adapter (although an adapter and PoE injector are included). Another practical feature is that the AC can operate both a 2.4Ghz and a 5Ghz WiFi under one SSID.

Signal coverage thus better than with the "similar-looking" competition.
