Ideal backpack for photo day trips

Ideal photo backpack for mountain tours, street photography or bike tours. Very comfortable to wear because of good back padding and back adjustment. Absolutely recommended. Good zippers!

I don't really recommend the backpack, unless you really only have 1 camera/lens with you.

1 DSLR + 18-200mm + 10-24mm fits in the side compartment. Anything more than that has to go in the main compartment, which is just a bit baggy, things can slip under the camera inlay and the main compartment doesn't really offer much space either.
So either more photo equipment - or a few clothes and food. Both together don't fit.

But the most annoying thing of all was the arrangement of the various straps. I can't understand why all the straps have to be crossed over. The straps for the large front compartment are also the straps for the side mesh pocket (if you want to take a tripod, for example). If you loosen the strap, the tripod slithers around, if you tighten the strap, you might crush your bananas in the front compartment.
At the back there is a compartment that is intended for a hydration bladder, but you can also slide a 13" notebook into it. That's practical - but you have to undo the shoulder straps every time to take the notebook out and put it in, and most of the time you forget to clip the straps back up again for a solid hold, not dramatic, but totally annoying for my taste.
I also don't find the carrying comfort to be outstanding, you're used to better from real outdoor backpacks (Ortlieb & Co.).
Admittedly, these are all rather small things, but all in all they left me with a rather below-average impression, especially considering the steep price of 185 Swiss francs!

Conclusion: I would not buy the backpack again.

    Great Pack for Mountain Biking!

No problem taking my D600 and two lenses (16-35mm and 70-200mm). The BP 300 still has enough room for my gear for a day. Stays comfortable and secure when out on the Fat Bike. Super backpack!
