Mouse Top! Keyboard Flop!

The mouse works great, feels good in the hand and is of the expected quality. I use it every day and find it excellent.

The keyboard, however, does not come close to meeting the expectations of a mechanical keyboard and certainly not from Logitech. For example, Logitech uses an imprinted legend. I might have read that somewhere in advance. But it just doesn't live up to the expectation.

A very negative and at the same time very subjective point is the haptics in general.

The plastic feels somehow cheap and looks "retro" to me. The sound with strong metallic reverberation sounds simply horrible and makes unnecessary noise. The workmanship itself is nevertheless robust and of high quality. Nothing is loose or similar.

And last but not least, I simply can't write on this keyboard. The error rate when typing is enormous compared to my other keyboards. I have the Corsair K63 back in use now and the switch back feels like a total relief. I suspect it's the angle of attack of the keys, which I think is designed for using the stand-up feet on the back.
A friend of mine also bought the keyboard at the same time and has also reported a higher "typo rate". However, he blames it on getting used to the keyboard.

Under these circumstances, I prefer to use a keyboard with a cable, even though I would have liked to have a mechanical wireless keyboard. more
