    Very robust

Survived a car accident at 80km/h!
Only the kickstand sits a little but otherwise it has remained whole.

Super picture with a small drop of bitterness

As expected, the picture quality is brilliant, not only the resolution but also the colours are excellent. Perfect to relieve the eyes when programming. Great for media (videos, photos, etc.) and with the right graphics card certainly ideal for gaming.
Viewing angles are also excellent thanks to IPS.

HOWEVER: Via Displayport, I can display 4k 60Hz under Windows, Linux and Mac OS X without any problems. But via HDMI, although the display supports HDMI 2.0 according to the manufacturer and I used the included cable (and also another separate HDMI 2.0 cable) to connect the monitor to my GTX1050 TI (which also supports HDMI 2.0b 4k 60Hz), I could only achieve a maximum of 30Hz@4k via HDMI but no 60Hz@4k. Very unfortunate for me as I have several devices connected at a time and only one Displayport is available and 30Hz is not useful to work well with. The internet didn't help either.

    Conclusion:
Picture quality etc. would have given the monitor 5 stars for this price (especially as I bought it during a special offer for 400.-). However, the non-functioning HDMI 2.0 4k@60Hz is a "bummer" for me and therefore only 3 stars. LG support was also not helpful on live chat. If you have any tips, please!

Only those who know exactly what they are getting into can achieve satisfaction with this monitor.

Photos and videos come out particularly sharp thanks to the 4K resolution.
In my opinion, this is unfortunately the only plus point of this monitor.
A big weakness is the glaringly bright black in dark representations.
Black should be black and not grey!
Trying out different settings over several days did not lead to a significantly better result.
I also did not like the colour display. The colours are very cool in the standard settings. This can be partially remedied with the help of the colour adjustment options.
As this is my first 4K monitor in 27" format, I was not aware of how extremely small fonts and symbols are displayed at native resolution. Without operating system-supporting magnification measures, it is hardly possible to see anything, unless you press your face into the screen. However, this is not a shortcoming of the monitor, but is in the nature of such 4K monitors with a 27-inch diagonal.
