    I have a memory module like this for a gleic...

    I ordered such a memory module for a Kyocera FS-4200DN laser printer ordered at the same time. Because of the clear indication "Kyocera MDDR2-1024 memory expansion" ("MDDR2-1024" is the official article description of Kyocera) I assumed that the product is an original Kyocera product for the rather high price.

    What I received was the following: A small box labelled "Bufallo Memory Upgrade" without any reference to compatibility with anything. Based on the labelling and the number of pins on the module, the thing will almost certainly work with the FS-4200DN. Of course, there is no official guarantee from Kyocera that such a module will work, and even if it does, there is still the problem that I would have been better off buying such a module on ebay for 50CHF. If the product had been correctly advertised as a Buffalo memory module at digitec, I wouldn't have bought it (or at ebay).

    My conclusion is quite simple: in future, I will think very carefully about what I buy from digitec.
