Good

Runs well and doesn't get too hot (I measured max. 50°), which is not insignificant when the M.2 slot is on the back of the MB between it and the case bottom.
Of course, the 540S can't hold a candle to NVME drives, but it's very usable in a barebone build with an i3 on an ITX motherboard, especially when you consider the relatively low price. more
