    Could very easily be much more practical and reliable, but function is fulfilled.

    Works as expected, but I am disappointed with the suspension of the VESA plate. I have an 11kg monitor, 32" and the oddly sized nut that holds the plate (and therefore the monitor) has to be tightened by hand, which is almost impossible. The weight of the monitor will always change the setting a little and the whole retaining clamp warps slightly. So I would strongly advise against attaching the recruited 30kg payload here.
    I replaced the nut with a regular M8 nut, which I can tighten properly (albeit with difficulty) with a spanner. But again, as soon as anything needs to be changed, the whole retaining bracket must first be dismantled with the Allen screws so that the nut is accessible. And then these plastic shells fall off the arm and screwing the whole thing back together soon requires 2 people, one to press the plastic shells onto the arm and screw in the Allen screws and one to hold the monitor.
