  Considering the installation restrictions, this is a great product for your own server.

  If you want to install this item in a normal desktop PC case, you should bear in mind that most 5.25 drive bays have curved drive mounts and this item will therefore not fit in them in the normal way. If you don't mind, you can simply bend/cut/etc. out these brackets. Everyone else will either have to buy a different PC case or switch to a 4-bay, which has notches for such bays. In my case, I bent out the brackets - according to the principle: "If it doesn't fit, we'll make it fit!)
  
  The item itself meets all requirements and also offers good cooling of the panels. On the medium cooling setting, I can't hear the cooler from the next closed room (only when I stand by the door and listen). On the highest cooling setting, it is definitely too loud for the flat. However, the medium cooling is perfectly sufficient for my 5 WD Red hard drives (~40°C under full load). more
