Recommended for low ambient light, otherwise go for darker filters (HD64/ HD1000)

This filter can only achieve the desired effects with little sunlight. It is suitable, for example, for taking pictures during sunsets. Depending on the camera and the weather, it is possible to increase the exposure time by three f-stops.
Waterfalls can be exposed longer with reduced light transmission so that they appear almost milky. Whether this effect is desired depends on the photographer. Portrait shots are absolutely no problem.
The thread is good, sits tight even after screwing it on several times and can be loosened again easily.
Fits many standard and macro lenses, even without an adapter. Precise fit and robust

    Pro

    • Very good quality - Good price/performance ratio - Excellent for evening twilight
    • Beautiful soft drawing of the water

    Contra

    • Comes up against its limits in very bright surroundings
    • Non-optimal shallower depth of field

Good product - for running water in daylight use darker filters

Good quality. Meets the basic requirements. For long exposures for running water etc, I would recommend much darker filters.

    • not dark enough to really photograph running water in daylight
