I bought this shredder for occasional use.
    Still expected more

    + Price
+ CD and credit card compatible

    - Already after the first use (approx. 50 pages) the blades were massively clogged! Nothing turned forward any
    more
With the help of the rewind button and tweezers, it took about half an hour to unclog the blades.

    - No forward motion at the push of a button, so unclogging is very laborious as only reverse motion is possible.

    - The black plastic container is easily electrostatically charged and thus mutates into an absolute (paper) dust catcher.

Caution, the number of sheets in the shredders is usually calculated with 70g/m3 paper thickness!

Nice design, but gave up the ghost after a short time

Unfortunately, I can only award one point because the shredder gave up the ghost after only about 3 years. Specifically, it suffered mechanical damage when a gear wheel on one of the axles disintegrated. A repair seemed unpromising. Previously, I had used a device that was only half as expensive from a special sale in a grocery shop, which lasted much longer (but was no longer available).
The Geha X7 does its job, as the other commentators have also reported, with a hell of a racket.
It is also a little impractical that there is a separate collection bin for CDs and credit cards, which sometimes falls out when emptied.

    Pro

    • Beautiful design
    • Pure electro-mechanical design, i.e. no power consumption in standby mode

    Contra

    • Makes a hell of a noise
    • Drive not particularly robust

The unit does its "job" when ...

The device does its job, even if it is very noisy.
By the time it was delivered, a few sheets had accumulated (about 25) and the shredder soon switched off via the thermal protection. After the cooling time, everything was
    o.k. again.
A forward feed at the push of a button would be helpful for unclogging. The return flow is available.
However, one has to take into account that this is a device for the household and not for an office with a completely different load / use.
