I have been taking pictures with a Fuji x Pro-2 for about two years and, in addition to the original batteries that come with it, I have bought five imitation batteries. The camera is used almost daily and I have always used the batteries in the same order. This means that all the batteries have been used with about the same frequency and intensity. All the imitation batteries (from different manufacturers) eventually became inflated and deformed, so that they jammed in the battery compartment and I had to dispose of them.
The original battery is the only one from this first battery series that is still in use after two years...Pro
- Longevity in terms of charging cycles.
- Adapted to the energetic power requirements of the camera.
- (so far) no deformations even with intensive use and large temperature differences.
- Reliable display of the remaining state of charge (is uncertain with imitation products)
- The same battery is compatible with many popular Fuji cameras.

- High price
- Relatively low battery power (I always carry several spare batteries).
