After 15 years of using the previous model, this is my 2nd set of Etymotic audiophile headphones. Magnificent!

A reference in terms of sound presence and neutrality. A magical sound!

Warning: audiophile headphones, neutral, will not please boom box lovers!

    Pro

    • beautifully detailed audiophile sound, presence, very balanced spectrum: fatigue-free listening.
    • cuts ambient noise for an enhanced audio experience

    Contra

    • beware of safety issues when used outdoors
    • you have to accept an earphone that penetrates quite deep into the ear. I'm very comfortable with them.

    A recommendation to music lovers

The ER4SR is my replacement for a (very) old Audéo and outperforms it in every way. The ER4SR impresses with really excellent sound. Even lows come through clearly and differentiated. A recommendation to all music lovers....

    Pro

    • Balanced and differentiated sound
    • Good noise reduction/sound insulation
    • Almost no cable noise
    • Very good workmanship - the headphones will last a long time

    Contra

    • No microphone and no control buttons on the cable
    • The ER4SR goes quite deep into the listening channel - this could be perceived as unpleasant...

    The sound is excellent.

These headphones reproduce the sound as it should be. There is no need for an equalizer
as the sound is very neutral. The reviews in the various tests are true to life.
the reality. Apart from a fragile cable, these headphones
    deserve a five-star rating.

    Pro

    • Sound
    • External noise insulation

    Contra

    • Fragile cable to be handled with great care
