    Worth the money if you like hockey and didn't play NHL 16 or 17.

    Except for the 3vs3 mode, it's the same game as last year with the same bugs.

    Pro

    • I still like the "feel" of the game
    • The presentation (graphics, sounds, etc.) is great, although _a lot_ has been recycled from previous

    Contra

    • Performance problems with online gameplay
    • Annoyingly slow UI
    • "Hockey Ultimate Team" is "pay to win"
    • Soundtrack this year is mostly whiny hipster pop
