Best purchase in a long time

Was an impulse buy after I saw the lowered price. After 3 hours I had already regretted it: I do not need, must be?
Then the fan... clearly perceptible when no sound runs in a water-cooled system.
    But, but, but. The picture!!!!
Battlefield 1 in HDR is absolutely world class. The wow factor is greater than 1080p TNT on 1440p IPS!

The combination of GSYNC, 120HZ (Fuer Chroma 444) and especially HDR is fantastic and makes me forget all the drawbacks immediately.

And I'm spoiled: have a 4k BenQ full SRGB with hardware calibration IPS 32 inch, the Acer XB270HU and especially a C7 LG Oled TV and still blown away by the picture in HDR.

The black levels are amazingly good for an LCD thanks to the many dimming zones and the zones are super fast.

A dream of a monitor and with the RTX2080TI FPS is certainly even more (probably as long as raytracing is off...).

    7 stars - 2 for the fan

    Very satisfied!

Stunning quality! I've been able to play Far Cry 5 and Assassins Creed Origins on it so far. Sure, with today's graphics cards, you'll never get to 144 FPS at 4K max settings, but the colour quality and HDR completely blow you away. The only weak point: The fan of the monitor is relatively audible.

    • When overclocking from 120Hz to 144Hz, there is a loss of quality in terms of colour.

Absolutely recommended if you want to afford it.

All in all, it's really a top screen, that's for sure. It has everything you could want for gamers. The price is very high, so you can't use the price directly. There is currently no alternative for half the price with exactly the same functions, only if you make compromises, which is also legitimate. The only downside is that when overclocking from 120Hz to 144Hz, it jumps into YCbCr422 mode. Very annoying on the desktop with 4k resolution and it bothers me because the text appears very reddish and blurred. At first it annoyed me and now I have found a good solution for me. I overclocked the screen to 144Hz and set it to 120Hz on the desktop. This way I have the full RGB444 when working on the desktop and automatically 144Hz when I start a game. While gaming, the YCbCr422 are not noticeable in the slightest. The fan is unusual at first, but you don't hear it when gaming either way. Perception very quiet. I hope the rating helps some who are still unsure. For me, actually absolutely full 5 stars for the quality!!! But only because of the price I have to give 4 stars unfortunately....
