Poor picture quality and cloud compulsion
After the many positive reviews, I also bought the product. However, I returned it because I was dissatisfied with the picture quality. I can't explain all the positive comments about the picture quality... Due to the image compression used for the Arlo Cloud, the image looks unclear and blurred. It is not what you would expect with Full HD (even on the best quality setting and with a very good internet connection). Unfortunately, the system cannot be operated locally and everything has to run via the cloud.

If you can't hear the alarm sound, the Arlo is useless
Alarm sound on IPhone or IPad is pleasant but very quiet.
The sound and its volume are not selectable or adjustable! If you are on the road, you will not hear the "alarm" in your jacket pocket and you will not wake up from it at night in your hotel room, even if the IPhone is on the bedside table.

Not happy
The two way communication does not work. So the product does not do what the manufacturer claims. Not happy about that specially because it is quite expensive...
