The protection provided by the cover is mainly due to the significantly better grip. However, the iPhone is only marginally protected by the case against shocks or falls. Visually appealing, very thin and aesthetic. Since the cover is cut out for the side buttons, the buttons sometimes jam slightly.

purchased this productYes, it fits and pleases!
Fits perfectly on the iPhone 7, which is what it's supposed to do :-) Looks classy in my eyes, brown case with black iPhone. Fits. Over time, it darkens a little at the corners due to use, which probably gives it a bit of a vintage touch.
Since the case is a bit higher than the phone, you can safely put it on the table with the screen facing down without risking scratches on the display (unless there are bumps on the granite table, so watch out in the Ticino grotti...).
The only disadvantage: if you hold the phone with the case sideways, the case creaks a little. Quietly, that is...Pro
