    So far, the appliance makes a very solid and reliable impression, materials and workmanship appear to be of high quality, moving parts are very smooth without wobbling around loosely. Actually, this is exactly what you would expect from a Siemens brand appliance in this price range. It's nice that this is -- in the meantime -- the case again.

    Unfortunately, this appliance does not have a temperature sensor to dynamically adjust the roasting temperature, which would take into account the heating of the roasting chamber during several roasting processes in succession and shorten the duration of the roasting process accordingly. So you have to successively reduce the roasting level manually to get evenly roasted toast. However, this does not seem to be a specific Siemens problem; I have not found a toaster in the consumer price range that offers this feature. Admittedly, a luxury problem ;)

    All in all, it's a very nice appliance that will hopefully deliver what the first impression promises in the long run.
