«One more thing» - Apple's over-ear headphones are here. With Apple dominating the in-ear market for the last few years, they're now entering the circumaural headphone business with the AirPods Max. To be released on 15.12.20.

Although I've been in the audio business for a while now, the launch of a Hero model is always exciting, especially when it's an Apple product. There is no other product for which our team has waited so eagerly as for the over-ear headphones from Apple. Rumours have been circulating for some time. And now, they're finally here..

The most important points

  • Eight microphones for active noise reduction (ANC).
  • 20-hour battery life with ANC turned on.
  • Bluetooth 5.0.
  • An Apple H1 chip in each ear.
  • Analogue rotary knob for music control.
  • 3D Audio with an iPhone or iPad.
  • A stainless steel frame and breathable mesh fabric for comfort and durability.
  • Ball joints between the ear cup and the headband to ensure a perfect fit.

The release is set for 15.12.20. Starting then, we can theoretically deliver the headphones to you. When and in what quantity we'll receive goods from Apple, however, is currently still unclear. I'll keep you posted on this page.
